That is very similar to what I had in mind. What would be really cool is for it to have built-in support for the Apple wireless keyboards and mice (or at the very least support for Bluetooth versions of both). It would also be nice if it could be used as a desktop extension for parking small desktop gadgets off your main desktop while it is in its docking cradle. I don't think it needs an optical drive either, as the OS would be in ROM and it would have USB ports for connecting external drives or syncing to a PC.
